One of two videos

The story behind these videos is simple. It was almost bathtime and bedtime last night, and Charlotte was wired for sound. I just took a couple random videos of her antics.

Just the funny things that kids do and the funny little ways that they have. On Baby Watch - we are down to three weeks until Baby #2's due date, even though, in the words of Adam, the church shamans say that I won't make it until then. We'll see. After all of my stressing about going into labor at school with Adam an hour away, I'll probably be about a week late anyway. :)
Soli Deo Gloria.

Baby Shower Pictures link

I was thrown a beautiful, low-fuss baby shower this past weekend at Olive Garden by my sweet friend, Lisa. Here is a link to her blog post about it.

Conversations with Charlotte

Charlotte: Momma, I'm gonna eat my quesedilla all gone, okay?
Me: Okay, baby.
(She cleans her plate because she's growing)
Charlotte: Momma, can I have some candy?
Me: No, you've had a lot of sweets today.
Charlotte: Can I have ice cream?
Me: No, you've had a lot of sweets today.
Me: How about some applesauce instead?
Charlotte: Okay.
Adam: This must be the only household that that switch would work in.

Goofing Around

Trick or Treating

I know this is late, but better late than never, huh? On Monday, we took Charlotte trick or treating at the mall. Here are the reasons we went to the mall and not our neighborhood:

  1. It was cold.

  2. We have no street lights, and I didn't want Charlotte to get freaked out by kids in costume in the dark.

  3. Charlotte's had a cough for about two weeks.

  4. People bus into our neighborhood to trick or treat, even though I'm not exactly sure why since we don't have street lights, sidewalks, or any wealthy people handing out full size candy bars.

Anyway, here is our Rapunzel. I think Adam had as much fun as Charlotte did, if not more.
